Indizo® High Volume Test Instrumentation
Indizo high volume test instrumentation automates dose content uniformity and shot weight testing of nasal sprays. The robotic instrument provides pharmaceutical laboratories with the ability to conduct multiple high-throughput tests of routine nasal spray devices using a single platform. Indizo instruments radically improves productivity by fully automating routine dose content uniformity and shot weight tests.
Viota® Software Platform Integration
Powered by Proveris’s Viota Software platform, Indizo instrumentation includes a Vereo® automated actuator with additional robotic capabilities to enable the integrated system to perform repeated tests without operator intervention.
The integrated Indizo system automates all of the following shot weight and dose content uniformity test phases:
- Validation according to GAMP 4 and cGMPs for analytical balances
- Device shaking and priming
- Actuation, sample collection and weighing according to USP standards*
- Nozzle tip dabbing between shots
- Data collection and storage – all with FDA recommended traceability and integrity
*If compliance with U.S. Pharmacopeia standards is not a concern, Indizo instrumentation may also be used for metered weighing.
Proveris’s Viota software controls all aspects of method development and execution, including programming the actuation profile and calibrating the actuator force transducer. Viota software uses synchronized force and stroke position measurements to provide real-time feedback for accurate process controls and method harmonization. Data is stored in a secure Oracle® Corporation 10g database. Data analysis tools enable users to organize and present data in FDA-approved formats and allow for compliance with 21 C.F.R. Part 11.
